Facility pre-planning analysis, feasibility and design for the renovation and expansion of the 240 bed, skilled and intermediate care nursing home.  Services included full facility and site renovation design, DOH conformity, life safety upgrades and complete ADA accessibility.

Huntingdon County Governmental Space Needs Study

HPArchitects was asked, in cooperation with various County departments and agencies, to prepare an evaluation of office space for Huntingdon County government. While existing County buildings are structurally sound, and many are imbued with historical significance, an aging infrastructure and rigid design has placed certain limitations on departmental growth and response to changing needs.  The resulting “Space Needs Study”, assessed the adequacy of existing office spaces, and made recommendations regarding optimal utilization of County owned facilities.  The study further investigated the opportunities and constraints for reconfiguring and/or relocating the above departments within County owned structures.  The Space Needs Study serves as a positive tool for strategic planning, for the immediate future, the next five years, and a ten-year horizon.
